MUST READ:Top 10 Female Gospel Music Artist from Yola, Adamawa State as of 2017

This list was compiled based on the musical  achievements and efforts of this female ministers from Adamawa state in the year 2016/2017. Thorough investigations were made and the results and findings are the outcome of this article as written and arraigned by one of our reporters "Steve Maina".
The list below contains the Top 10 female music ministers that are doing a great job in representing the church and are tirelessly working to make female ministers accepted in Adamawa.

10.  CHARITY GEOFFREY 

We all have a soft spot for ladies with a sweet high pitched voice blended with the accurate melody right? well our number 10 in the top ten female Gospel Artists making wave in Adamawa state as of 2017 has the exact qualities listed.  Even though our Number 10 Miss Charity is new to the Gospel music scene here in Adamawa State,  she is still making her way into the hearts of people who love to hear God's word embbeded in music. Charity is a single lady,  a university graduate, presently pursuing her masters degree at the Adamawa State University, mubi. She has worked with some of the top Music Producers in Adamawa state, the likes of Gwills, TimzBeat,  Gben e.t.c all in effort and preparation for her forth  coming studio Gospel Album in March this year.  be sure to see more if her this year and beyond. 

9. LOVELY MIJAH DILLI

Our very own Lovely Mijah, When you mention this name here in Yola,  u know where she represents instantly because of how she reps her label Church Boiz Music Empire. She has branded herself a Church girl and a true worshipper who sings from the heart and blesses her audience consciously. Being the first Female artist signed under her label (Church Boiz)  3Years ago,  lovely being the Queen of the Empire has been working tirelessly to make music inspired by the heavens to bless her audience. Back in 2015 she collaborated with multiple Award winning gospel saxophonist Samuel Jazz aka Sarkin Bushi, and together they gave us the song "Give you my Heart" which caused alot of commotion online and became a day to day worship especially for me. Minister lovely is set to tie the knot on the 3rd of march 2018 with her long time boo who has been supporting her music career.

8. TIMNA TINO

Who dosnt know the vocal sensational Timna aka Ladykatino??  lolzz trust me,  if u don't u are on a long thing.  Signed to Kloud 9 Musique turn Dan Sarki Records, TIMNA has been touching lives as well as Blessing souls through her Music. As young as She is,  she has reached heights that is pretty amazing and has been able to achieve alot  in the industry within a short period of time.  Adamawa is Blessed with alot of vocal Angels and trust me when I tell u,  our number 8 is one of the best around here. TIMNA is a single lady pursuing her first Degree at The State University in Taraba,  Nigeria. Rumor has it that she has big plans for this year and we can't wait to feel what God will do through her this year. 

7. NANCY OBADIAH 

OK,  now this is my personal favorite, our number 7 is the one and only beautiful and amazing vocally oriented Miss Nancy.  Even though she  has been missing for a while now in the Gospel Music Industry in Yola,  trust me when I tell u,  she ain't taking a break.  Planing and going back into the secret place to build yourself up and grow is one of the ways of making any lasting impact in the heart of your audience in the gospel Music scene, unlike the secular world where anyone can just have money and decide to be an artist even without talent and he or she will still make it.  Miss.  Nancy is a single lady working under the radar to hit us with some anointed music this year. watch out!!!!

6. LOVETH JOHN

Now this lady right here is musically musical, trust me when I say so.  After dropping a smashing hit album that attracted alot  of Gospel music ministers and fans  on the dedication and concert,  Loveth John has been maintaining the velocity which she entered the Gospel music scene with in yola.  Being  a Loyal FOGMMON member  in the yola chapter,  Miss Loveth has featured in some of the top events and when you hear her sing you will know why.  she carries an intense presence of God when she sings and vocally she impresses and gladdens the heart of her audience.  Our Gospel Gossip Bird (GGB)  tells us that Miss Loveth is making some huge move to make this year a spiritual music experience for her fans. 

5. FAITH KRIM

Being one of the top female Lead Vocalist from the Praise Chapel International in Yola-Jimeta, our number 5 Minister Faith Krim has been a source of inspiration to alot of female talented artist who are Scared of coming into the industry because of lack of self confidence or some other reason. Faith Krim's boldness and passion when she handles the mic has made her presence in the gospel Music Industry in Adamawa state felt and even though she has been away from the scene for a while now, her debut  Album "NEW DAY" has become one of my personal favorite Music C.Ds rocking my stereo and am sure am not the only one enjoying this anointed and talented minstrel.  watch out for more of her in this year 2018 because am sure that heaven has got something to say through this minister. 

4. FLORENCE ANTHONY

When you hear the name, you feel like you heard the word "YAWEH" right?  Lolzzz,  earning  more than 1,200 downloads in less than 12hours of release, Miss Florence Anthony broke the record of the most downloaded song by a rookie in Yola with her first ever single "YAWEH". Being one of the strongest and most reliable lead vocals at Encourage Fellowship International (Now Church)  Florence Anthony has being in the Gospel Music scene  for quite a while now but not as a solo individual Artist until she signed for Church Boiz Music Empire in 2017. She has been the top shining star among the label  since her first single and has being enjoying wide recognition because of her efforts in the year 2017, i believe more exciting music shall be brewing from her this year 2018 too. 

3. NFORMY SHANTY

Now this lady right here has a matured way of running her music ministry,  being a solo artist with no label, ministers Shanty has been able to achieve what most artists think you need a label to achieve, but she is doing it on her own,  and guess what?  it is working out good for her. After pursuing a career in the Nollywood film industry, She finally gets a call from God and she answered by entering ministry full time. 

With a sweet and amazing vocal ability and high pitched maneuvers plus acrobatic riffs, Miss Shanty has featured in alot of top Gospel Music Concerts and Events in and around the state of Adamawa, also featured in alot of musical collaborations one of which she teams up with Gospel HipPop rapstar Zino from Yola too,  and they made some heavenly inspired music together.  presently shanty is spreading her wings across the country as she has set out to brake the limit of her music from just home base here in Yola.  Shanty is also a single lady in ministry (I can't tell weather she is single and searching though)  lolzz. 

anyways, rumors brought to us by our GOSPEL GOSSIP BIRD (GGB)  holds that the actor turn musician  is set to make us dance and praise along as she prepares to drop some of her heavenly inspired compositions.

2. LEM OBADIAH

How many of you remember the hit song we use to sing praise and worship with "When Praise Goes Up, Blessings Comes Down" ??? well our number 2 in our top 10 female gospel music Artists Miss LEM is the Writer and performer of the hit track "When we praise".  It will amaze you to know that our Gospel Gossip bird brought us news from a reliable source who happens to be a Pastor based here in Yola,  that this same song by Miss LEM is a praise and worship song in other African countries beyond the shores of Nigeria, like Sere-Leon and South-Africa.  But did you even Know the song writer of this same song hails from Yola?  well she is. Being the Music Director of "Freedom Power Chapel international Yola,  Miss LEM Obadiah has been maintaining her cool since she dropped her 16 track Album over 6years ago, which was  completely produced by Gwills.  since then,  she has been quiet but amazingly with her quietness, she is still topping the charts and making waves above the radar.  2018 is indeed Another year you will hear alot of reasons and result from her silence all this year's. 

1.Kemi Melton 

Well,  Well,  well. Here we are,  at our very Number 1 and top Female Gospel Music Artist based in Yola, Adamawa state, Nigeria. She is none other than the Sensational Kemi Melton, the C.E.O of Spinnet Fashion Company which is making alot of waves in the wears design industry in Yola and the north east at large.  Ministers Kemi Happens to also be the Music Director of the "House of Refuge international, Yola", and my oh my,  if you were present at the FAITH CONCERT held in November by EXOSIA music international,  you will bear me witness that this woman right here deserves to be on our number 1 on the top 10 female music artist, I  present at that occasion told someone seated near me at the event "I can't believe this musical Angel hails from yola" , Mrs Kemi Melton is Happily married and has a loving husband who supports her musical and fashion career,  that being said,  Mrs Kemi has the ability to drag the entire host of heavens attention down to earth just to inhabit her worship, she has a huge strength especial in worship, with thick grace on her wonderful voice.  last year November 2017, she won the SONG OF THE YEAR category at the EXOUSIA music Awards and since then we have been expecting another one of those heaven inspired music.
